Adding A Form

  When I Try To Add a form to one of my pages the page crashes and it says “something went wrong while displaying this webpage. To continue, reload or go to another page.” this happens every time i try to do this.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  The only form we can use is this one > contact form > http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact-form/ Is that the form in question or not?

  It’s important that you follow those instructions for the shortcode to the letter.

  • If you have then you could have a browser issue so try changing your browser settings, refreshing the page, or clearing the browser cache and cookies – instructions for specific browsers.
  • Note that when you make adjustments to your browser settings — changing privacy settings, deleting cookies or increasing security — you will need to close your window and restart the browser before those new settings become effective.
  • You could try upgrading your browser.
  • You could try using another browser.

  Which browser and version of it are you using.

  Which browser and version of it are you using?
  Did you log out of wordpress.com and clear your cache and cookies and log in again or not? If not please do that now.
  Did you use the shortcode or not?
  Can you please explain exactly which step in the process was a problem for you?

  Are you talking about the “submit your trick” page, http://kingstoqueens.wordpress.com/here-we-go/ ?

  If so, it displays fine for me in both Safari and in Firefox with no errors..

  We have another blogger who had an issue with Chrome and creating a contact form. When she switched to using Firefox she was successful. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/contact-form-browser-crash?replies=5#post-610795

  You COULD, if you wanted to, create a form in Google Docs and embed that and I think you can have attachments there. But the reason WP.com doesn’t enable it is that sooner or later someone would send you something malicious.

  Nope, no attachments either in Google Docs.
  There are: Text, Paragraph Text, Multiple Choice, Checkboxes, Choose-from-a-List, Scale, Grid, Section Header and Page Break.
  No luck for me so far… :(
