Adding a forum

    Hi

    I’m wondering is it is possible to add a forum to the blog? I’ve seen something called Simple::Press – but I fear this only works with self-hosted WordPress and is not offered with hosted wordpress. Am I right and is there any other way I can add a forum to hosted wordpress?

    I’m sorry but we cannot embed forum on wordpress.com blogs. What we can do is get a free forum or a free social network from ning.com and then link to it from our blogs.

    If you do this it’s a good idea to create a static Forum page with the link to the forum or social network on it and include a promotional write up and invitation on the page. Alternatively you can use an eye catching image linked to the forum of social neiwork in a text widget and place it at the top of your sidebar.
