Adding a forum or discussion board to site?

  I would like to add a small discussion board or forum where users can post. Is that possible to add to my website?
  I’d rather do it through wordpress as I’d like to keep it small. I do not need to create a separate website for my forum, I know that is an option.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  WordPress.com is not a forum host. YOu can find a forum host online and link to your forum using a Custom Menu or Text Widget.

  I never tried it but the bbpress forum plugin seems interesting for your purposes.

  raincoaster and I have been here for over 6 years. Her answer is correct and yours is off base. There is not FTp access to fre hosted WordPress.com blogs and we cannot install any plugins. See > http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
