adding a gallery, finding my gallery

  I tried creating a gallery of pictures that I wanted to add to my media but I can’t locate the gallery . It’s not added to my media which i made my homepage

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I don’t see any gallery on that page. Can you try re-adding the gallery following the steps here?

  I figured out how to add the media thanks to your help, but now I’m having trouble downloading a video file. It is an MP4 the video won’t load? Thanks Helen

  Hi Helen,

  Great! I’m glad you were able to get the media sorted out. Regarding the video file, are you having trouble uploading it to your Media Library or getting it to actually display on a page?

  If it’s the former, could you try uploading a different file type and also letting me know how large the file is?

  If it’s the latter, could you point me to the specific video you’re working on? Each media item should have a specific URL like the one shown here:

  This answer did not help me. I still want to upload videos many to my blog/web. Now I’m having trouble just adding a photo to my media page. It loaded to my posts. I now have my media on a static front page But I’m not liking the look of it either. Just unhappy with with wordpress right now.

  Happy to help. Let’s break this issue down a bit. First, let’s handle the media issue. To clarify, you’re having trouble uploading anything (audio or images) to your Media Library. Is that correct? Can you try uploading a different file size (smaller one perhaps)?

  I think I’ve forgotten how to do it. I was trying to add a flyer for upcoming performance. No trouble posting it.

  What kind of document is the flyer (jpg, pdf, etc)? If it’s a document (pdf or doc), you’ll need to use these instructions:

  Upload a Document

  If it’s an image (jpg, png, etc), you can use the guide here:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/uploading-images/

  Can you give either of those a try?
