Adding a .gif to the sidebar?

  I want to add a short video clip .gif to my sidebar. I wanted to add it in one of the text widgets… is this possible?

  Yes, you’d add it like any other image in a text widget.

  well… it’s an image, so it will work. You have to go to manage uploads, go to links on it, copy and paste the code, and put it in a text widget on the sidebar.
  If i am being too complex, I am sorry.
