Adding a go-to heading

I currently have one heading to which all my blogging is addressed. I want to start a new second heading called HISTORY and send a portion of my blogs to that. How do I go about making that happen?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi –

The easiest way is to assign the history category to those desired posts. Then, that specific category can be listed in to your site menu.

Or, you could use the display post shortcode to only display those particular posts on the history page.

Let me know if you need more help.

Hi, Thanks for the input. I just don’t get it. I’ve tried several times; don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I’ve added the heading “History” and, for the essay I’ve written, I assigned “History” under Catagory (where it lets me assign Catagory and Tags). When I check the essay, it goes to my “Home” catagory on the menu. It flicker onto the screen, then dissappears and the last essay I posted re-appears.l

    I hope I’m making sense.

  • Hi there,

I think I understand. I wanted to see if you can follow these instructions to set up your category menu and pages (if you haven’t tried already seen these instructions) and see if this works for you:

    Thanks,
