Adding a landing page to an existing clients site

    Hello,
    I am creating a landing page for a client. I would like to know which is an optimal method to create one. the choices so far I have found are

    1. create a subfolder in the parent page and design a landing page.
    problem : if so – do I need my clients wordpress credentials to go into their theme and create a landing page?

    2. create a subdomain to main domain url
    problem : do I require access to their cpanel to register a new addon domain and then create a separate wordpress landing page

    3. create a separate page with separate url and link it to the main web page

    4. point their DNS to mine, migrate their whole site under my hosting and then create an addon domain for landing page and create it using wordpress.

    5. go the old school approach and hash out HTML, CSS & JS code for landingpage.html and give it to them so they can deal with how they want to host it whether as a subfolder or subdomain.

    I am confused. I need help. I apologize if this isn’t exactly WP Forum but need help desperately .
