adding a leadbox

  Hi

  I was wondering if I can add a leadbox (from leadpages), specifically a pop up lead box, I have the HTML etc but not sure where to put it?

  Hi there,

  No pop-up subscription boxes are possible on WordPress.com, as it’s not possible to install plugins here, nor to use JavaScript, which is what those boxes use to work.

  Hi and thanks for the reply, however leadpages have a WordPress plugin, why would they have a WordPress plugin if WordPress don’t facilitate plugins?

  You are confusing wordpress.COM hosted blogs with wordpress.ORG software installs on paid hosting. The two are not the same.

  Blogger installed plugin capability does not exist on WordPress.COM blogs and there is no upgrade you can purchase here that changes that reality.

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/

  For that type of functionality you’d need a self-hosted WordPress.ORG software install running on a paid web hosting service.

  WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums.
