Adding a like button to photos in gallery carousel without displaying metadata?

  I published a gallery of photos in a post and have enabled the carousel function, but I noticed that a like button only appears for individual photos if I “show photo metadata in carousel,” I don’t want to display that info, but when I turn off “show photo metadata in carousel” the like button on individual photos in the carousel disappears.

  Is it possible to offer a like button without displaying the meta-data?
