Adding a link

  How can I add a link to a post, meaning adding it inside the post?. I try to do it by clicking the link icon but it is not available. What I am trying to do is post a message saying that I have moved my blog to another address so I can redirect any traffic there.
  Is there a best way to do that, other than adding a link to a post?

  Thank you. In order to make a link, you have to have content on the page to link up. What I did was make a static Page (not Post) on my closing down blog, http://lolebrity.wordpress.com and post a message saying I’d moved to the new URL, Lolebrity.net and then I linked up the URL directly to the new blog. I set all the other posts as Private, too. That helps, because it means you don’t have duplicate content out there potentially telling Google you’re a spammer.
