Adding a link (both w/visual editor & HTML) results in no link
-
I’ve attempted to add a link to a post to an outside site, and in the editor it appears. When I click to preview changes, it appears. But if I view the blog (both with Firefox and Safari), the link doesn’t appear. I had someone else test it, and he had the same results. I tried adding the link using HTML instead of the visual editor and still saw no change. I reloaded the page multiple times and it was the same.
Please assist. Thank you.

You’ll see that there are no links in the copy. There should be one in the second paragraph.

1) What exactly did you try, and what’s the URL you tried to link to?
2) What browser and version are you using? -
What is the anchor text for the link that ought to be in the second paragraph please?
What is the full URL starting with http:// you wish to link the anchor text to please?
Link format
<a href="URL HERE">Highlighted anchor text here</a> -
I tried using the hyperlink button to link “SubSeattle Tour” to http://www.subseattletour.com. When that didn’t result in link creation, I unlinked it (again, using the button), and then created a link in the HTML using the same basic code that timethief references. That also didn’t work.
I made these attempts first in Firefox 10.0.2, then replicated them in Safari 5.1.2.
