ADDING A LINK TO A POST

  I am just trying to add a link to a post. No blogroll, just a link within the text of a post.I read the instructions, and I can’t get it to work. Quite frustrating!

  Pastry

  As you can see, I want the word “pastry” to be the link, but it just keeps displaying the whole line with no link.

  Any help would be appreciated.

  In the visual editor, highlight the word you want to use as the link. Click on the link icon in the toolbar (looks like linked chain links) and put the URL you want to link to in the “link URL” field and the click insert.

  You’ve got it right. ‘Pastry’ links to a site for pastry shop.
