Adding a link to an Amazon Astore to my blog

I have a blog about cocktails, drinkstraightup.com, and have had a few readers and friends ask about recommendations for cocktailware, drink books, etc. I was considering adding a link to an Amazon Astore I created, in order to highlight products I use or recommend. I know that you guys don’t like embedded stuff, get rich quick schemes, etc, but from what I can tell it sounds like it would be ok to post a link on my blog to my Amazon Astore, but I just wanted to make sure. The minimal money I would make through amazon is not worth it if it compromises my ability to share ideas and posts with my readers. Is this type of linking acceptable?

    Thanks,

    Nick

    Hi there,

I’ve never heard it referred to as an Amazon Astore, but are you talking about Amazon Affiliate links? If so, there is a small exception which we make regarding those.

You can read about it here:

Let me know if you have any questions!

Thanks for the quick response. It sounds like it would be fine then. Here is a link to the store I created:
    http://astore.amazon.com/thestrup03-20

My plan was to link to this in my banner.

    Thanks again!

    Nick
