Adding a link to open in a new tab

  It has become more complex to add a link to open in a new tab. I have to add the link and then reopen it to go into advanced options to see the ‘open in new tab option’, and then I have to click again. I think there is now 5 more clicks necessary. Can we return to the old system where the ‘open in new tab’ was present right from the start?

  While I don’t have a solution for that at the moment, I can share that we are also getting this feedback (that the extra steps required here feel unnecessary and time consuming) from other site owners, and the developers working on the Editor interface here at WordPress.com and in the open-source community are working on improving the experience of setting up links.
