Adding a live chat widget
-
I need to be able to add a live chat plugin or widget, but apparently the .com sites don’t allow that and instead only allow widgets. Is there a way to do this? it is very important that this can be available to our customers.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

At present there are no chatboxes available I am aware of that can be used on free hosted WordPress.com blogs. There is no FTP access and we cannot install chatboard or forum plugins for security reasons. They are only for WordPress.org installs and can’t be used on free hosted WordPress.com blogs. http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
Workarounds
You have three free forum options: http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2012/04/23/wordpress-com-forum-options/

We are paying money for this webpage and have purchased upgrades. As I said it is extremely important that I have a live chat option for my customers. What do I need to do to be able to do this?

Please be aware that you are not paying for your free blog nor for free hosting and nether am I on my blogs. See: Important Notes Before Upgrading
There is no upgrade you can purchase that changes anything stated there or restated here > http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/To install a live chat widget you will have to hire a web host and move your content into a WordPress.org install.
