Adding a logo onto a theme home page

    hello I’m trying to add a logo to my header image of my homepage so that it will scale to different screen sizes automtically the word press chat directed me here I’ve currently got the logo on the image itself but it gets cut off when viewing on larger screens so I want to ad the logo separately and was told that needs to be coded.?

    Hi there, I would suggest creating an image without the text and logo in it, and then go to Customize > Homepage and in the Secondary Banner Text area, add the text you currently have in the image, and for the “logo” create a PNG file with no background and about 350 x 350 pixels.

    What you can do is add the text and the logo, and set the logo to center in a draft post or page, and then switch to the HTML/Text tab in the editor, copy all of that and then paste it into the Secondary Banner Text field.

    Let me know if you run into problems with any of that.
