Adding a Map for Current Location

Hi,
I am a travel blogger and would like to add a current location map to go underneath my profile. I travel all the time, I need to be able to change it easily when I’m in a new place – would this be a plug-in?
This is the kind of map I would like to use, you can see it on the right hand side of this blogs website:
Simple, black and white, and states current location. I don’t want the busy google map, I just want a simple small map for current location to go underneath my profile.
I am also a computer idiot, as well as a baby blogger, in that I am also a bit of an idiot doing anything on WordPress also.
Please help if you can, much appreciated!

The only way you’d be able to get that is to create it yourself as a series of images and upload them as appropriate. That is basically what she’s done.

Well, there’s no shortage of world maps, and hers says Bali while the highlighted country is Australia, so even she hasn’t got it down pat.

Haha, too right. I just have no idea how to go about adding a map that I can alternate depending on day I am in what country. I must find out!
