Adding a menu item to the banner under the header image
-
I’ve tried adding a menu item (‘Contact me’) by adding a tab to the menu under the header image using the menu options, but all I managed to do was made the whole banner disappear. At least I managed to reverse my mistake, but I haven’t managed to add the Contact me tab. How do other Adelle users do it?
Thanks, lovely friends. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

1. Create a Page first http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/#create-a-new-page
2. (a) Embed a secure contact form on the Page so your email address and personal information will not be harvested by spam bots.

(b) Disable comments on the Page and publish the Page.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/enable-disable-comments/3. Add the Page to the custom menu http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/#adding-pages

I assume you have already created a custom menu but if you haven’t then see here http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/#creating-a-custom-menu
4. Note that there are many common errors, misunderstandings and misconceptions when creating custom menus and you can read about them here. > http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2011/12/19/custom-menus/

You’re welcome. BTW I’m using the same theme here http://thistimethisspace.com but I do want you to know this is not a theme related issue.
