adding a music player to the side bar

  hello, i am struggling to add a music player to my right side bar. i have done it before and had music on it but i tried to take some music off and put some new music on it and now it doesn’t display on the site at all now. i cant remember how i done it the first time, ive looked up videos on how to do it but they keep mentioning using the plug in tab on the dashboard but i cant seem to find that either. can anyone point me in the right direction to get the music player back on my site?

  i have downloaded a music player and im trying to add it to the music player widget but all it displays it the code and not the player??
