  I was just referring to the blog link button. Not my site. But thanks anyways.

  Yes. Thats what i was trying to do, No matter where I am on my site. the blog button works, except home page.

  Ok. I have it all figured out now. Now my only and last question is. can I add another post below this one and it will be date stamped?

  That means that you have yet to publish a Post rather than a Page. As soon as you publish a Post it will appear there.
