Adding a New Post
-
When I click on ‘Write’ or ‘New Post’ (can’t remember exactly how it’s worded), I write something then click ‘publish’, but then I can’t figure out where it went. It’s not in any of the pages I created in my menu. I only see it if I click on ‘Posts’, but that’s an internal action. People visiting my site wouldn’t have that option and therefore wouldn’t see the things I’m posting.
1- Where do my posts go as default when I publish them and
2- How can I create a post and designate at that time which page I want it to post to?Apologies if this has already been asked/discussed. I couldn’t find how to search for that. 🤷🏽♀️

Posts go to the posts page. Most people make that page the front page of their site as that is the most convenient way for regular visitors to your site immediately being exposed to your latest content. See “Design” “Customize” “Homepage settings”.

Thank you themagicrobot! I appreciate the good steer. I’m new to all of this and not very savvy. I will look into that, or maybe change how I have it set up. I have a homepage that people land on, and then a bunch of other pages. Maybe that’s my issue. I like my setup, but maybe that’s not what a blog page is. Maybe the set up isn’t functional for that. Thanks just the same! 👍🏽I’ll work on it some more.🤔 And hopefully at some point I can just… WRITE. 🤷🏽♀️😁
