adding a new theme

  i purchased a theme and would like to add it to the available themes. I went to appearance/themes guess what no tab to add new theme. Is it my dumb luck or what?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Search for it in the search box at the top and if you bought it just activate it.

  @michaelallenlafleur,

  It sounds like you purchased a 3rd party theme and are looking to upload it. This option does not exist on WordPress.com. You can only use 3rd party themes on a self-hosted WordPress.org site.

  For a complete list of themes you can use at WordPress.com, go to https://theme.wordpress.com/. There is a robust selection of free and premium themes to pick from there.

  thanks for responding to my post. I purchased the x theme. no result in the search for that theme.

  Where did you purchase the theme from? I recommend going back to them and getting a refund since it cannot be used here on WordPress.com. Alternatively, you can set up a self-hosted WordPress.org site and use the theme there.
