adding a page for blogs that I follow and a page where people can read my old posts

  I want to add a page where people can see my archive blogs as well as see what other blogs I follow , like a blog roll . Thanks!

  Hello!

  As far as the blog roll aspect, you can use the widget Links to create a blogroll. This article specifically shows how to add them.

  From what I can tell, you cannot make a separate archive page on any of the standard WordPress themes, and only the Business package comes with CSS editing/Custom theme options. This article explains it all a little better than I can.

  Create an Archive using the Archives Shortcode https://en.support.wordpress.com/archives-shortcode/

  You can quickly and easily create an archive index of your WordPress.com blog’s posts using the [archives] shortcode. To create an archive index for your blog, simply following the instructions in this support doc.
