Adding a page like the main page

    Hi,

I have created a page in my original blog (http://techboard.wordpress.com) and the page name is Development. What i want to have the development page just like the main page, i.e i can write independent posts and user can comment on independent posts. Right now, if i write the page with multiple entries, every entry become part of the page as a whole, unlike the main page where each entry makes a new separate entry, which can be clickable independently and comment-able independently.

    How can i do this?

Actually, i have multiple blogs and i want to merge them in one, the other blog is (http://aleeprogramming.wordpress.com).

    Cheers,
    ..alee

You cannot do this. Pages are static and do not function this way, as you’ve noticed. Only one spot on the blog functions like that, and that is the main blog page. If you tag Development tags with “Development” then a local tag page will be generated which functions like that, but it draws all posts from the main blog page anyway.

The usual solution we give for people who want more separation is to have more than one blog, and link them in a text widget on the sidebar.

thanks raincoaster; i am already having multiple blogs and i was not feeling comfortable to manager all those blogs explicitly.

Right now, the traffic on techboard is relatively higher than on the programming blog and i want to have the techboard traffic on programming as well, that’s why i was thinking about it.

Can you suggest any solution to this?

    Anyhow, thanks!
