Adding a "Paypal" button to my "Photography" theme

  I am trying to add a “Paypal” button, I tried copying the code from Paypal and pasting it to the page I want it to appear on, it did not convert to a Paypal button/logo, just the bare code!
  Do I have to first insert a widget? If so which and how?
