Adding a PayPal Shopping Cart to WordPress Site
-
Hey everyone. I am sure this has beat to death… but I am a novice user. I understand almost everything on the site but have no idea about coding etc. I am a fisherman running a site for a non profit fishing tournament.
I want to be able to have drop down add to cart buttons for certain items on my page and then a view cart cart button where people can make a purchase.
In the past I have just created multiple pay now buttons and have not had an issue. I now have too many items for users to click and make separate transactions. Is there a way to do this?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there, @pikeyaker – just to be sure it was not possible… (see this article:
https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/is-it-possible-to-add-a-shopping-cart-on-my-blog?replies=6…I tried to make a shopping cart button in my paypal account and placed the code in the text editor of my post then published my post and took a look. Alas, it did not work.
Alternatively, a process you could explore for adding drop downs is to:
1) Make a page or post for each product and add the paypal button to the page/post (as you have done)
2) Add the page/posts to your custom menu as a dropdown menu itemLooks like you already know how to setup menus, but just in case you need a refresher, see this article on adding items to your custom menu:

Before jumping into those waters, you can learn more about the differences between the two here:
