Adding a Photo to a Page
-
I would like to add a photo to my homepage. However, the customizer will not allow me to add a photo anywhere other than the header. Furthermore, the photo has to be cropped incredibly small (1/20th of the picture), and the resulting display is unrecognizable and very grainy. Lastly, when typing in CSS, the default photo overrides what I would like to display.
How can I add a photo to the opening page of my website?

Hello there,
Please use this link https://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum/css-customization#postform so you can copy and paste your text into a thread that will appear in the CSS Forum where you will get the help you need. -
I want to be sure that you have read the detailed theme description page so you are aware of how your theme is designed and what the correct image dimensions are. See here please http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/radcliffe/

Thank you for your help, and yes, I am aware of the dimensions for the theme. I have tried several photos at various sizes and scales within the scope of the correct image dimensions. I have even tried different sources; websites, iPhone pictures, emailed pictures, professional photos, etc. Regardless, the result is the same; a small, grainy picture stuffed in the header.
Based on your suggestion, I did start a new CSS Forum question, and I will re-read the link you sent.
Thank you again for your help.
