Adding a picture scroll

  Hello all,
  I would like to add a scroll to one of my pages. I have a recipe page where I post a pic and a description beside it, but when I view it on the actual page the pics and descriptions are no where near where I put them and it doesn’t look right. So, I thought I could just add a scroll of the pictures of each recipe and the title where people could click on the recipe picture they like where it will take them to that recipe page. Is this the best way to do this? You can take a look at my recipe page to see it doesn’t quite look right. I also had to delete half my recipes trying to figure out how to fix it. So, do you know how I could so this or maybe a better idea??
