Adding a picture to a blog

  I have a picture on my computer that I want to upload to my blog. I select the picture but nothing happens. Can you help?

  I can’t figure out how to add an image to a blog. When I added the image it put it on the first page and covered everything up.
  In the future I want to be able to add photos from my trip.
