Adding a "pin it" button to pictures

    I’m using a pre-made theme for my wordpress.com site, and I can’t seem to get the “pin it” button to appear over my images. I was able to change the settings to allow for the button to appear at the bottom of the boast, but when clicked on, it shows all of the images in the post, which is hard for my users to figure out. I know how to fix this problem on a wordpress.org site (because widgets are awesome!), but not on wordpress.com. Is it because of the theme I’m using? I know this feature is supported on other wordpress.com sites because I’m a blogger, and I use it.
