adding a plugin

  Hi. I have a free wordpress site, but am unable to add any plugins from the wp list of plugins without upgrading to a paid version. How do I fix this? I would like to add Metaslider.

  Hi there,

  On WordPress.com a Business Plan upgrade is required to install plugins to your site. This is how it works, and not something that has to be fixed.

  On WordPress.com you were never allowed to install any plugins until last year when we launched the support of plugins on our Business plan only.
