Adding a plugin to site

I don’t see the “plugin” option in the admin area. My site clickwheelmarketing.com- now MobiFX doesn’t provide the option. Does the site need to be hosted at WP or privately hosted??
Blog url: http://clickwheelmarketing.wordpress.com/The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That’s correct. We don’t allow plugins on WordPress.com for security reasons. Plugins are a feature only available for self-hosted blogs provided through WordPress.org.
However, we do have several built-in features that were inspired by many popular plugins. You might find what you want by searching for it in our support docs.
For more information on the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org, you can see this support page:

If I have a registered domain name for my wp site on wp.com can I download to wp.org? If so, what is the process and what are hosting charges?
Thanks, Steve

If I have a registered domain name for my wp site on wp.com
The domains mapped to http://clickwheelmarketing.wordpress.com/ are registered at another domain registrar (Godaddy).

Yes, you can point your domains to your own host by updating the name servers for each domain (once you have hosting service) with the ones your host will provide.
We also have hosting recommendations here, if you’re interested:

Thanks, Bryan
So I can just update the name servers for the domain-no uploading files, ftp issues, etc. and then I would be good to go. Does GoDaddy need to install WP on their server or each domain file?
Once this is done, the admin part of the WP site will have the ability to upload plug-ins? Is that right?

Yes.

Almost. You’d then need to install the self–hosted (WordPress.org) software before the site will work. GoDaddy has a one–click installer to automate installing WordPress on your server.
Once this is done, the admin part of the WP site will have the ability to upload plug-ins?
Absolutely. :-)
If you have further questions about the self–hosted (WordPress.org) software, you can check out the Codex for documentation, in addition to asking for help in the WordPress.org support forums. (You’ll need to register a username there since those forums are separate from WordPress.com.)
I hope this helps!

Thanks again. It did help. I may have not been clear with my question -when I spoke to GoDaddy a few minutes ago, they indicated that if wanted to bring the content of an existing site over I would need to download all the files an upload them to GoDaddy.
Is that consistent with your thinking??

Yes, that’s correct. (Sorry, I wasn’t aware you wanted to move your WordPress.com as well, which makes makes perfect sense since you have content there.)
Once your self–hosted WordPress.org site is up, you can move your WordPress.com site with these instructions:

Note: Make sure not to delete your WordPress.com site if you need to transfer media files to your host.
