  Can someone tell me how I can add plugins to The Chateau Theme? I’m using wordpress.com to host my site.

  WordPress.com sites don’t support plugins, but WordPress.org sites do. However, WordPress.com offers all kinds of built-in functionality that you could find useful: https://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/
