  I am trying to add revive old post to my wordpress blog.

  You cannot install any plugins into any wordpress.COM hosted sites. You are confusing wordpress.com hosted sites like yours with wordpress.org software installs on paid hosting. For that type of functionality, you’d need a self-hosted WordPress.ORG software install running on a paid web hosting service.

  At present there is no FTP access and no blogger installed plugin capability on any free hosted WordPress.COM blogs and there is no upgrade you can purchase here that changes that reality.
