Adding a "poll" to my blog

    Im trying to see if there is any way i can add the “poll” i created via my sidebar “Poll” button and add it to my blog? But not into a post, but as part of the site/menu? I am using the free version of wordpress.com (not the upgraded version).
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Neil,

    You can add a poll to your sidebar by pasting that poll’s shortcode into a Text Widget. To get each individual poll’s shortcode, head on over to your Dashboard -> Polls page. Then, click on “Edit” for the poll that you’d like to include in your sidebar.

    At the top of the page, you’ll see “WordPress Shortcode.” Simply copy the shortcode information and head over to your Appearance -> Widgets page. In a Text Widget, paste the shortcode and press “Save.”

    You can also use the shortcode to add your polls to different posts and pages on your blog.
