Adding a post to a specific category

  Hi there,

  I’m trying to add my posts to a specific category under my menu. So far my blog consists of ‘outings’ so each post I want to add it to the category ‘outings’.

  I attempted to do it through the forums posted about the same issue, but I’m still unsuccessful. Am I missing something?

  Hi,

  That can only be done with a custom menu. So if your present slide-out menu isn’t a custom menu then you’ll need to replace it with one. See the Category Pages support page for information on organizing posts by category.
