Adding A Record (for email hosted by Crazy domains)

    Hi,
    In order to be able to access my newlifehealing.com.au email (hosted by Crazy domains) I have been instructed to add an A Record and MX Record. (details provided by Crazy domains)

    However, when I ‘Add a New DNS’ to add the necessary A Record and MX, it overwrites the ‘handled by wordpress’ entries. I understood that both should remain? ie I should have 2 A Records and 2 MX records?

    Any advice, support would be greatly appreciated – thank you.

    Hi there,

    The A-record they gave you should have a prefix like “mail” or something. If you add a new A-record and add that in the first box, with the IP in the second box it shouldn’t overwrite the existing A record.

    If you’re not sure what to do, please reply with the records as Crazy Domains gave them to you, and I can add them for you.
