Adding a script to header html
-
Hello,
I need to add a javascript file to the header html of a wordpress.com blog.
After looking around it seems only Tweaky is allowed to do so.
Just wanted to confirm if this is true or if there is another way. Or maybe even they are not allowed to do so…?Thanks,
BorisThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That’s not possible here. We cannot access the header area and insert any code into it at all. Moreover, blogger initiated JavaScript is not supported. the software strips it out to provide security on the mulituser blogging platform.

Thanks for your answer, Timethief. I’ve read the first link before, but just wanted to double check.
So are you saying that even the Tweaky people are not allowed to ad a script? It’s just a device detector that forwards mobile devices to another site… -

PS – Tweaky is not adding script to your blog here – they are just doing things like Upload a header, add a Contact Us form etc – to your blog – it is fixed pricing with a fancy name

No. They cannot do anything at all that’s outside of what’s stated here > http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

They are only doing what you can do yourself – some people do not have time or maybe don’t want to spend the few minutes to learn how and upload a header for instance – you spend more time writing the spec and reviewing things than looking at the support documents then doing it yourself
you be welcome
