Adding a search facility to a blog
-
Hello,
Here is my wedding photography blog:
https://karenthorburnweddings.com/blog/Is it possible for me to add a search facility to this page? The idea is for potential clients to search for their wedding venue without having to scroll through the page.
This is what I have in mind (top right of this page):
https://blog.karenthorburn.com/Thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
Each of the two sites is using the same theme. The homepage of the site https://blog.karenthorburn.com/ has a search widget among the widgets displayed in the sidebar widget area, while the site https://karenthorburnweddings.com/blog/ doesn’t have widgets displayed in the sidebar widget area on any of the pages that I’ve checked, including the homepage. So, if I’ve understood correctly, adding a search widget would be the easiest way to achieve your goal.
Note that Dicot is a premium theme, and like all such themes it’s own support forum where you may submit support requests directly to the theme designers. The Dicot support forum is here: https://premium-themes.forums.wordpress.com/forum/designorbital/dicot/.
Also, those with paid plans such as yourself have access to live chat support. See the Live Chat Support support page for relevant information.
