Adding a second user account with previously used e-mail address

  I’d like to create a new blog with a different username. I understand I need to use a different e-mail address to establish a second user account. I only have two e-mail addresses, and I inadvertently changed the one on my existing account to the one I want to use for the new account. I changed it back to the original e-mail address but, when I tried to use the other one for the new account, I got an error saying it was already in use.

  If I wait a day or two, will I be able to use this e-mail address for a new account, or is it now permanently associated with my existing account, even though I’m not currently using it for that account?

  No, you need a new email. Try gmail.

  If you are not using the email address for any accounts, you should be able to sign up for a new account with it. If it still gives you an error, please send contact us through Support.
