adding a shopping cart..is this possible?

  I know about the wp ecommerce plugin, but I can’t seem to find any documentation on if I can use Paypal’s direct payment option.

  My client doesn’t want the customer to have to go to paypal to checkout, she wants it ALL done on the website. Is this possible?

  I actually haven’t started skinning WP yet..I really wanted a ‘nope..not possible’ or a ‘of course that’s possible!!’ before I get committed with WP.

  I really really do NOT want to use oscommerce or something like that..it would really be overkill for this small company.

  Shopping carts are not possible at wordpress.COM. Nor is javascript, flash, iframes or forms due to security concerns. Non-secure paypal buttons are OK for donations, but the secure buttons for ecommerce are not.

  Here’s the problem – I suspect you are in the wrong forum because we don’t use plugins here at wordpress.COM. We use different software here at wordpress.COM than the folks who are swelf-hosted. That’s why we ask for a link to the blog.
