  what is the short link for and why / where should i use it.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  It’s for Twitter, so you can post to Twitter without going over the 140 character limit. Now that Twitter has become more sophisticated about links, though, it’s unnecessary. And it’s not as good for SEO as your normal link is as far as I can tell. So just use the regular link; Twitter will convert it into a clickable, but short link anyway.

  Thanks raincoaster, i thought it was for wordpress posts, i don’t have a twitter account so i don’t need it then.
