Adding a sidebar link to a specific post

  The “top posts” widget is a good idea, but right now my “top posts” are not what I want shown.

  My blog consists of a bunch of humorous articles that i write, so I’m trying to add links to “my best articles” in my sidebar to give a good first impression. The “top posts” widget seems like it would do the trick, but currently my “top posts” are either my oldest or the result of inadvertent keyword searches.

  So instead of my funniest posts being displayed, my oldest post and two random posts that got high view counts due to people searching for something else get displayed.

  Can I change the “top posts” widget so I can choose which posts are displayed? Or can I somehow hardcode the title “My best articles” with links to my best work underneath them on the sidebar?

  You can “hardcode” the links to your best articles in a text widget and give it the title “My best articles”.
