  I would like to had a page with a gallery? and a slideshow on cover page

  You can go on the themes page here –
  https://wordpress.com/themes

  And then click on more to filter out the themes which has a post slider.

  You can also check out categories like Photography, Portfolio or Magazine to find a theme according to your requirement.
