adding a stats counter

  I created a blog for my 6 year old daughter to use as an educational tool and for the fun of it. The theme she choose says it cannot use widgets and I would like to have a stats counter to appear on her page ….is this possible?? If so, how would I get it to show? Her blog is

  Not unless the theme supports widgets. With a widget aware theme, you can either add the blog stats widget that WordPress provides, or set up an account at statcounter or sitemeter and use the plain HTML code from them in a text widget.

  Can I have a statcounter on my blog?
