Adding a sub page under a menu page

    Hi, I was interested in adding a sub page below one of the pages in my menu. Under the About Page I wanted to add a Privacy Policy. I already went in and added it under the Pages tab and made the About page as the parent but I don’t know how to make the page show up as a tab under about on the home page for the reader to click on and bring up the policy. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

  • Hi Mary Ann.

    You almost got it! In fact you already have “Privacy Policy” submenu and link but… it is in the same blue tone as the background! :)

    So you could change background or text color. Let me suggest you to change color to white.

    .navigation-main ul ul a {
        color: white;
    }

    Of course, you can try by changing background color, if you prefer so. (The last line of the following css code will add a border in the same blue tone, you could remove it).

    .navigation-main ul ul a {
        background-color: white;
        border: 1px solid rgb(35,49,85);
    }

    I hope this helps you. :) Enjoy blogging!

    Thank you so much for your help! I changed it but I still am having a hard time getting my cursor to click on it. I have a touch screen so if I touch it it forwards me to the privacy policy but I can’t seem to get the cursor to click on it. Thanks.

    As you moved the menu’s position you’ll also need to adjust the position of the sub-items. The reason you are unable to click is there is a gap between the bottom of the menu and the start of the sub menu.

    This should help:

    .navigation-main ul ul {
    top: auto; /* was 2.5em */
    }
