Adding a tab (link) to pages
-
I’d like to add a tab (link) that is visible on all my pages such that, when tapped, will take the viewer to a particular page. How do I do that?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
The menu items “Home” and “OLLI Courses – Roy Cook, Peer Leader” do that. Do you want such a link to appear somewhere other than in primary navigation menu?

I want to be able to add a third menu item (I didn’t realize that is their proper name. I referrrd to them as links). I want to add Homepage so when someone is elsewhere they know how to get back. And I’m only talking about this site (I have two): ollimentors.wordpress.com. The only two menu items now are Contact & OLLI Mentors. I don’t know where to go to add another it to chance their sequence.

Hi,
Thanks. Regarding the site https://ollimentors.wordpress.com/…
The Twenty Ten theme will display a default pages menu, that includes a “Home” link (menu item), if no custom menu is assigned as the primary navigation menu. The absence of the “Home” link from the menu on your site indicates that there is a custom menu assigned. So, there are two different ways to obtain a “Home” link in the navigation menu on https://ollimentors.wordpress.com/:
1. Deactivate the custom menu, which results in the default pages menu being displayed.
2. Add a custom link to the custom menu, linking to the homepage. See the Additional menu items section of the Custom Menus support page.By the way, each new menu item or link must be manually added to a custom menu, whereas links to new pages are automatically added to the default pages menu.

musicdoc1 – thank you. I may have eliminated that link when I started this site because I mistakenly thought the Homepage link was unnecessary.
By the way, separately on this forum I’ve asked why I’m losing photos that were on word docs that I’ve dropped onto a Page. Didn’t make sense to me that they would be scrubbed out. I’ve added them back by dropping them onto the Page, an unecessary extra step IMO. These were resumes with photos.

You’re welcome.
I don’t have an answer regarding the word doc image issue. However, since you’ve already created a separate topic on that, it would be best to keep it separate. You may add a “modlook” tag to the sidebar of that topic if no helpful response come soon.
