Adding a tab to my page
-
hi! i’m new to wordpress and just got started on my page. i have a blog but i want the first page you get to on the site to be the “About” section, so when I changed it that way my blog disappeared from the site. How do i create a tab up on top next to “About” where it says “blog”? I also want to add more tabs with music and different things. Thank you!
(I have the Twenty Eleven theme)

You need to create two pages when you set a static front page. you can create a static front page called for example “About” for your site and a “Blog” page for posts. After you do that you go to > Settings > Reading and make the designation change and click “save changes”.

Create a custom menu and add items to it.
