Adding a table into Edin theme & linking an e-mail address

  I’m working in an Edin theme on WordPress.com and I’m trying to add a table (similar to an excel table) into one of my pages. I currently built the table in excel, saved it as an image, and uploaded it to the page. However, there is an e-mail address within that table that doesn’t function like a link because it’s an image file.

  Question: how do I build/add a table into an Edin theme page so that the contents of that table are functional? Once complete, how do I insert an e-mail address into a page so that a user can click on it and have it open an e-mail in their e-mail program? Thanks.
