Adding a tooltip to just the Featured Images

Hello.
I’m looking to add a tooltip to just the featured images on my site. I like the functionality of the ‘Simple Tooltips’ plugin, but I can’t find a way to add a tooltip that only appears when mousing over the featured images on the front page of my site.Is there a way of doing this? It would be a blanket tooltip message of simply ‘click here to see more images’
